Who exactly are People not Borders?
At our core, we’re a group of determined women, aged from 30 - 60.
We are not a religious group. Some of us belong to churches; others don’t. Some of us are politically aligned; others are not.
We’re a band of individuals who don’t always agree. But we all believe in love, and in working together as one human family.
We are driven by the conviction that every one of us can make a difference and help to change the world for the better.
The Trustees are:
Cordelia Gohil, Lisa Hartley, Mikaela Pavlovica, Katy Brookes-Duncan,
Sue Hampton and Flip Tatum-Pike.
Also on our committee is the invaluable Victoria Sindermann, and there are many others who help enormously, like Annie Smith and our trusty drivers Hamadi Gharbi and Steve Burdekin.
We also liaise with Herts Welcomes Syrian Families led by John Borton, with DENS and many other groups like STA, Yarl’s Wood Befrienders and charities Samara’s Aid and UK Action for Refugees.
